The eastern South Dakota community of Brookings has hosted a marathon since the summer of 1970. Just as the course has changed a few times in the past 40 years, the racing experience continues to evolve. Today's event has beautiful neighborhoods, hundreds of wonderful volunteers, and a great post-race party for you and your family and friends. NOTE:All participants in the marathon, half marathon and marathon relay will receive a technical running shirt from Greenlayer. We've received many positive comments about these race shirts.
