Scotty Roberts 5K : Race Information

Named for a running icon in the Brookings Community, the Scotty Roberts 5K takes place the evening before the marathon. Dr. Roberts ran before running was even considered good for you, and his efforts helped "pave the ways" of Brookings running over many years. This event provides a great chance to get in a friendly race and still volunteer or cheer for your favorite runner on Saturday. Registration, packet pickup, and the meal all take place at the start and finish of the 5K. Taking in the sights, sounds, and tastes of marathon weekend couldn't be easier.
